This is the post for people who would like to volunteer to beta art and fic for the Inception Reverse Bang.

Authors are required to have their work checked by a beta reader, though it doesn't necessarily have to be by someone on this list. Artists are not required to have their work beta-checked, but it is encouraged.

*Note: an art beta can check over works for issues such as: anatomy problems, colour palette choices, compositional balance, etc. They can offer feedback and critique, hopefully helping the artist make improvements to their work.

Please note that the mods will not be pairing/matching betas with participants; artists and authors should contact a beta volunteer directly.

LJ username, or preferred method of contact: email please: horizons915 [at] sbcglobal.net. However, I usually enjoy actually talking/messaging as we read over a fic if it suits the author as well. It's just more organic than highlighting a .doc (though that works in a pinch, of course).

Notes/Things-you-may-like-to-know: Inception-wise I have dedicated most of my reading to A/E and thus feel I have the most fanon-knowledge where they are concerned; if you're building off fanon then I'm your girl. Bounce ideas off me! Conversely, if you are writing a different pairing (or Gen fic) I can give you an unbiased take on how your view works.
My weaknesses include my inability to keep time-lines straight (I'm not chronistically-inclined) so any accidental anachronisms will still be there if I read it. I'm also unfortunately not pedantic when it comes to grammar so if you're looking for a fine-toothed comb re:commas, I guess I'm a hairdryer--more concerned with the overall structure, flow, and shine.

I welcome any and all fics. Oh! And I'm happy to be a gamma reader as well, if you're needing a third voice.

Already done two fics, though one was rushed and one was at 30% beta strength. Time to take myself off this list. Good luck to all those last-minute finishers. ;)
