The subject line should be this exact phrase: Story Draft Submission

This draft does not need to have been beta-read yet but it should be at least 3000 words OR at least 75% complete. You may paste your story into the body of the email or include it as an attachment.

I've already notified both of my authors, but unfortunately at this late stage I won't be able to finish stories for either of my claimed pieces (1009, 1005). Real life and writers block have prevented me from getting any further than an outline and a few scenes, and with school starting up for me again it's going to be impossible to find time to write. I'm so sorry!

I also am going to need to throw myself on your mercy. Real life reared up and kicked me in the teeth, and I won't be able to get in my draft until tomorrow (the 5th)....I'm really sorry, and I hope it doesn't cause problems/stop me from being able to participate!

okay, I am so, so sorry but I am having a hell of a time getting this done--I usually never, NEVER ask for extensions like this, but because of extenuating circumstances I won't bother you with here, I have had NO time to work on this...please believe me when I say the reason why is important, and out of my control...I think I can get this done by the end of the weekend, but of course I understand if you would rather get another writer in to pinch hit--I really don't want to let my artist down, but there is no way I can get this done any sooner---and I am VERY sorry about it :(

Hi, I made my request to post for the first week, but I was wondering if there was a possibility of requesting to post late in that week, or to actually change to my second preference (second week). The story itself is all but finished, but since the story turned out to be much, much longer than anticipated (I had anticipated 10k, no more than 15k when I began - it is currently double that length and still growing) I'm a bit worried that my betas won't have time to edit it all - one of them is a writer in the reverse bang and has another story to beta on top of it all, so she's got quite a bit on her plate.

Sorry to be a nuisance and bringing this up so late. If changing isn't possible, then that's fine, I'll make do with the deadline I'm given, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask anyway ^-^
