Author Check In #2 - Mandatory

Authors, you have until June 22 to check in. If you do not check in, you and your art work will not receive a posting date in the posting schedule.

Authors, fill out the form stating your preferred weeks for posting. Posting will take place over the course of three weeks: July 15 - 21 (Week 1), July 22 - 28 (Week 2), and July 29 - August 5 (Week 3).

In the form, you may specify which weeks you would prefer to post in, or state that you have no preference. Bear in mind that everyone cannot post in Week 3, so please do not list that as your number one choice unless you have a solid reason for doing so.

Also, if you are writing two stories, please fill out the form twice. One time for when you'd like to post your first story, and a second time for when you'd like to post your second story.

Be sure to discuss this topic with your Artist(s), particularly if they will be making the Master Post for the piece to the i_reversebang community. If an Artist has two stories being written for a particular piece of their art, the Artist must make the Master Post to the community for that piece of art.

I'm not sure if I should be asking this here or not. If this belongs somewhere else, I apologize. The schedule has the stories due on the 1st. However, I get the impression from this that the work technically doesn't have to be done until it comes time to post it. Is it a guideline to have it done on the 1st or do we have to have them done and checked by a beta at that point? It's not really an issue for me, but I just wanted to clarify so I'm not off schedule. Thank you!

It's recommended that you have it done by the first but the hard deadline is your posting day.

Both of my pictures are double-claimed, so they'll be making the posts to the community; am I still the one choosing which weeks?

You should go ahead and contact your artists to ask them what their preferences are & what they've decided with their other writers.

I feel terrible about this, but I think I'm going to have to drop out of the challenge. I've got the beginnings of my story, but I just can't be certain that it'll be ready in time for posting.
