One day in her mid forties (having barely thought of Fischer, inception or anything else to do with it) she rediscovers some old things that remind her of the team, the job they did and so on. During this moment she knocks/checks her totem and it doesn't fall. The kick that should have woken them all those years ago failed, and they've been dreaming ever since. Ariadne is faced with not only the life she's loved being a dream all this time, but also with finding the rest of the team and convincing them so they can wake up.

Summary of plot (rough idea is fine): Arthur's Sheriff of this town, and he excels at keeping the peace, although that doesn't necessarily mean upholding the law at all times. Eames is a thief. It's a simple balance to manage until a third party comes in with more sinister designs. Arthur is forced to make some unlikely alliances to restore the town's peace.

Any other comments? I'm aiming for a super atmospheric piece: dusty, rough, with the thinnest veneer of civilized order. A bit the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, a bit Deadwood, maybe a dash of Lawless. We'll see how this turns out. I hope to do the artwork justice, because it's so evocative.

Summary of plot : Ariadne lands a gig on a vessel in need of a co-pilot for some upcoming, and very lucrative, asteroid mining and load drop missions. Ariadne’s pilot-partner, Eames, is the best field-teacher Ariadne could hope for. As time goes on, the jobs get more and more risky. The ship and its gear start behaving strangely. As the asteroid fields and load drops get further apart and the crew prepare for an interstellar jump, secrets begin to work their way to the surface.

Any other comments? I’m having loads of fun so far. The bulk of my time has been focused on doing research into space travel and in fleshing my characters out. But now that I’ve got some of the basics hammered out, I’m excited to do more world building and actually get the story moving.
